The Library is at the heart of our school. Situated in the Rendall building, the double doors lead out onto Langley lawn, a much envied vista and ideal view for pupils to focus on study. Not only used for learning and research, it is often a venue for visiting authors and speakers, academic challenges, as well as local and regional competitions. The space houses thousands of books, magazines and materials of both fictional and non-fictional nature. In short, there is something for everyone. It is a place where everyone is welcome to recharge and refocus.
Accelerated Reader:
The Accelerated Reader Programme gives our pupils in Years 4-9 the chance to improve their reading skills. It promotes reading for pleasure and provides an individually tailored programme to support the child’s reading habits and enhance their ability. This programme is facilitated by the Library.
