The Academic Course for International Students

Pupils embarking on this one-year programme can customise the elements of their individual course depending on their age and language abilities. This can include studying for a pre-A-Level qualification, a range of IGCSE or GCSE courses including Maths and English, the Cambridge First Certificate in English, or an IELTS qualification. To complement these studies, girls will study with our day pupils in a range of subjects including Art, Business Studies, Computing, Drama, Science or Food and Nutrition in Rye St Antony’s own Leiths’ professional kitchen.

At the end of the one-year course, girls graduate with an internationally recognised qualification and also key skills such as higher-level reading and greater fluency in English plus the self-confidence of having lived as an international student in a cosmopolitan city such as Oxford. Upon graduation, girls will be ready to embark on A-Level studies in the UK in preparation for university or will return to their home country to begin the next stage of your studies at home.

Whole School Open Week

This year we are doing things slightly differently to comply with current Covid-19 guidelines.

We warmly invite you to experience Rye St Antony during a personal virtual meeting at a time that suits you. Meet staff and pupils, have a look around with our virtual tour and see what makes Rye so special.

We are incredibly proud of the Virtual Learning Experience we have offered our pupils during lockdown – you can read about it here
