How to Apply
How to apply to Rye St Antony
Rye St Antony is an Oxford-based school for girls aged 3 to 18 and for boys aged 3 to 11.
Pupils within this age range can start at any age and at any time in the term, although most will join at the start of the school year in September. In our Nursery School, boys and girls can join from the term of their third birthday.
Our pupils’ personal skills and qualities are very important to us here at Rye therefore we consider all applicants on their own individual merits, whether this is academic, in art, music, drama or sport.
The first stage of an application to Rye St Antony is usually to visit the school for a tour led by our Registrar, Fern Williams, with either senior pupils or members of staff. We welcome visitors at any time of the year and would be delighted to book you in for a tour. We encourage you to visit during an ordinary school day so that you can get a good idea of everything that Rye has to offer during normal lesson times whether academic or extra-curricular. During your visit, you will also be introduced to our Head, Joanne Croft, who will talk with you about your child and their interests and to answer any questions you may have.
We encourage early Registration for a school place and before any taster/assessment days take place. There is a £150 registration fee.
For details on the Admissions procedure for each stage of entry please read the relevant section or to read our Policy click here.
Once all our entrance procedures have taken place, we make a formal offer of a place in writing. We then ask all parents to confirm their acceptance in writing with a fee deposit of £500 for day pupils, £1,000 for boarders and £2,500 for international boarders.
Our aim is to support you as you apply to Rye St Antony and make your child’s entry as simple and straightforward as possible and we are always here to answer any questions you may have.
