Rye St Antony girls are set to take on the World

Following a year unlike any other, year 13 pupils at Rye St Antony celebrated their excellent achievements with high A Level results. All students achieved the grades necessary to take up places in such universities as UCL; Kings College London, University of Exeter, University of Leeds and Cardiff University to study such subjects as Chemistry, Biosciences, Music, Environmental Geography, Modern Languages and more.

After a tough year in education in such a different learning environment, we are incredibly proud of our pupils who have worked so hard over these two years.

Highlights

Particular highlights for this year include Lucy Embers, who attended Rye from Nursery to Sixth Form, and has left with A* grades in A Level English Literature, History, Government and Politics, and Religious Studies and will now move on to study Politics and International Politics at University College London.

Jessie Li, our STEM Superstar, who secured an A* grade in Maths, an A in Chemistry and an A in Psychology. She moves on to study Chemistry in King’s College London. Jessie’s enthusiasm is an inspiration to all.

Head of Sixth Form, William Spanjers commented: “The results at A Level this year at Rye St Antony is a testament to the resilience and hard work of our girls in the Sixth Form.  Rye girls achieved an impressive 89.5% A*-B grades and 100% A*-D.
