There is Room at the Inn at Prep School Nativity

This year’s much-anticipated Prep School Nativity charmed parents, staff and other pupils alike with its wonderful acting and singing, superb costumes and resounding theme about the real meaning of Christmas.

The Inn Keeper took the spotlight in the Year 1-4 Nativity, which was skilfully directed by Year 2 Form Teacher, Dr Clare Kirtley. With a working title of ‘Round The Back’, the plot centres on the number of visitors who are trying to sneak into the Inn through the back door, much to the Inn Keeper’s dismay and annoyance. However, when Jesus is born, his attitude changes and he welcomes all his previously unwanted guests.

The overall message of the production was to teach pupils about peace and love as well as the real meaning of Christmas.

The Prep School held two main performances for parents on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 December, as well as a few extra performances for other pupils and staff.

Well done to everyone who worked so hard to ensure this year’s Prep School Nativity was such a success.
