The Mathematics department is celebrating the success of one Rye pupil, Jungwon Choi, who qualified in December for the follow-on round of the Senior Mathematics Challenge, which took place on 7 November 2019.
Having taken the Senior Challenge, Jungwon’s score placed her in the top 4000 in the country, for her year group, and she went on to gain a Merit on the much more difficult Senior Kangaroo paper, held on Friday 29 November 2019.
This result places Jungwon in the top 300 for her year group in the country. Congratulations Jungwon!
