Forest School for all ages

At Rye we are delighted to offer Forest School to all ages right here on our beautiful wooded 12-acre site.

We have two qualified and highly-experienced Forest School Leaders who provide sessions to every child, from our very youngest right through to our Sixth Form pupils. The great outdoors and the natural world all around us at Rye is without doubt the best classroom and equips pupils with some of the lost skills of our ancestors.

Our older pupils have a chance to try whittling, lighting a fire, toasting marshmallows, cooking and basic survival skills, while our younger children enjoy making camps, climbing trees and playing in their own self-built muddy kitchen.

Whole School Open Week

Monday 28 September – Friday 2 October

This year we are doing things slightly differently to comply with current Covid-19 guidelines.

We warmly invite you to experience Rye St Antony during a personal virtual meeting at a time that suits you. Meet staff and pupils, have a look around with our virtual tour and see what makes Rye so special.

We are incredibly proud of the Virtual Learning Experience we have offered our pupils during lockdown – you can read about it here
