Our busy extra-curricular programme is central to life at Rye, enabling pupils to develop their skills and talents, to be inspired and enthused and to try new things.

We offer a diverse range of activities, which constantly evolves according to interests and demand. Clubs, societies, committees and activities are run during lunchtimes, after school and at weekends and are led by staff, pupils, parents and external clubs and coaches. Study/holiday visits in the UK and abroad take place during half-term holidays and main holidays.

In early September an Activities Fair is held so that pupils can be introduced to the variety of clubs on offer, meet the person running the activity, and find out more about what is involved.

Currently, in Science Club, pupils have been busy building Rye’s first greenpower car.

There are also opportunities to take part in debating, public speaking, Model UN, Science and Maths competitions with other schools.

Whole School Open Week

This year we are doing things slightly differently to comply with current Covid-19 guidelines.

We warmly invite you to experience Rye St Antony during a personal virtual meeting at a time that suits you. Meet staff and pupils, have a look around with our virtual tour and see what makes Rye so special.

We are incredibly proud of the Virtual Learning Experience we have offered our pupils during lockdown – you can read about it here
