uke
of Edinburgh's Award expeditions take girls regularly
to The Ridgeway, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Snowdonia and the Scottish
Islands.
Through their fieldwork visits girls
explore Oxfordshire, coastal areas of Devon, Cheddar Gorge
and other parts of Somerset and various urban settings.
A recent visit to Iceland gave girls first-hand experience
of some particularly spectacular geographical landscapes.
Study visits to Southern Ireland, The Netherlands, Normandy,
Burgundy and Andalucia give girls memorable holidays as
well as the opportunity for intensive study. The focus
of these visits is sometimes on language, sometimes on
history and culture.
Always popular are the regular skiing holidays in the
French or Italian Alps and the watersports holidays in
the South of France. |
