As part of our topic on homes, Paul Southouse from Original Field of Architecture visited Year 2 to talk about his job as an architect.He showed us how he used the computer to select an appropriate site and to create designs, plans and models. We were all impressed with his houses that had gardens on the roof and hidden roads going through tunnels! Afterwards, he helped us to design and construct our own imaginative structures from plasticine and drinking straws. Some of us made houses while others made public buildings. There was even a swimming pool and a temple! A big thank you to Paul for sharing his creative talent with us.
