Termly boarding enables girls to take full advantage of Rye’s educational, sporting and recreational facilities in the evenings and at weekends. Prep for younger girls is supervised, with help at hand as needed. Safe access to computers is available within the boarding houses, and the King Library is open until 7.00 pm each weekday evening and until 12.30 pm on Saturdays.
After-school time can be spent studying independently, exploring a new or existing area of interest through the wide variety of clubs and activities on offer, taking part in a physical activity, practising a musical instrument or rehearsing for a school drama production. With caring and committed house staff available to give support, girls are able to follow a full and varied programme which gives a framework for personal achievement and the development of strong inter-personal relationships and leadership skills.
