Our busy extra-curricular programme forms an integral part of life at Rye, enabling pupils to develop their skills and talents, and to be inspired and enthused.

A diverse range of activities is available, supporting the requests of pupils as well as calling into play the strengths and wide-ranging interests of the staff. Clubs, societies, committees and activities are run during lunchtimes, after school and at weekends and are led by staff, pupils, parents and external clubs and coaches. Study/holiday visits in the UK and abroad take place during half-term holidays and main holidays.

In early September an Activities Fair is held so that pupils may be introduced to the variety of activities on offer, meet the person running the activity, and find out more about what is involved. Some activities for which there is a charge offer free taster sessions. The range of activities on offer varies according to demand; here are some of those currently available:
