here is a strong team of specialist teachers of drama, and girls at all levels have scope for traditional and experimental work. A major drama production each year, and various smaller presentations, including the GCSE and AS/A Level performance work, give girls the opportunity to develop their skills in performing, directing, lighting, sound, stage design, costume design and make-up.

There are frequent visits to Stratford, London and regional theatres including the Apollo Theatre and the Oxford Playhouse.

The School has a strong tradition of debating and public speaking, and girls have many successes to their credit in city, county and regional competitions.
