all girl boarding school
ye St Antony was founded in 1930 by Elizabeth Rendall and Ivy King who reached their decision to start the School during a visit to Sussex and the Church of St Anthony in Rye, in commemoration of which the School was named.

The School began in central Oxford before moving in 1939 to its present twelve-acre site of exceptionally beautiful grounds on Pullen's Lane overlooking the City of Oxford.

A steady programme of building and development has provided the School with excellent teaching and residential facilities. A new performing arts centre, The Janet Ward Building housing state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, opened in February 2005.
